Alan is the Chief Executive Officer of IP Group plc, a FTSE 500 company that specializes in investing in and building technology businesses based on intellectual property originating from Universities and other research intensive institutions. Previously Alan was the founder and CEO of Techtran Group Limited, a business that was sold to IP Group plc in 2005. From 1995-2000 Alan was a partner in KPMG where he specialised in providing corporate finance to and raising money for fast growing technology businesses.
