Michelle has considerable experience in improving environmental performance within the University Sector. Previously heading up the Environment Team at the University of Hertfordshire, Michelle has led all the major sustainability focused projects, culminating in the University being placed twice within the top five in the Green League of UK Universities. These included the implementation of the University’s Environmental Management System, the production of the University’s Carbon Management Plan, the implementation of the University’s Waste Strategy and Sustainable Purchasing Project and the management of the University grounds for biodiversity. As a high profile member of the Environmental Association for Universities and Colleges (EAUC), Michelle also managed the production of the EAUC Biodiversity Guide.
