William is a Chartered Wastes Manager and has worked at a senior level in both the waste industry and as a Regulator for over 15 years. He has previously worked in a development and operational capacity for Waste Recycling Group and Sims Group and spent 6 years in the waste team at the Environment Agency as a senior officer. This integrated expertise enables William to identify commercial opportunities arising from legislative change and to determine the process for delivering sustained benefits. He has also managed a large number of major projects in both the public and private sectors and is particularly skilled at developing solutions which deliver compliance, operational effectiveness and commercial advantage. William's current focus is on the development of the Material Stewardship business unit alongside his day to day responsibilities as Managing Director.
